## Common questions

### How does the free trial work?

Install Footnote, then pick a plan on the app’s Billing page. That starts a 14-day free trial, one per store. Your first charge appears on your BigCommerce invoice when the trial ends. If you switch plans during the trial, the days you have left carry over.

### Can I cancel?

Yes, any time on the Billing page. You keep your plan until the end of the period you have paid for, but cancelling during the trial ends access straight away. Labels stay on your storefront for 7 days after a subscription ends. Your decisions and the activity log stay in the app until you uninstall it.

### Is it free on a sandbox store?

Yes. Sandbox stores get every Pro feature with nothing to buy. On a live store you choose a plan.

### What if my catalogue has more than 50,000 product images?

Choose Pro. Essentials covers up to 50,000 product images. If your catalogue grows past that while you are on Essentials, you get 30 days. After that, Footnote checks your whole catalogue once a day instead of every few hours until you upgrade. Product edits still show within about a minute, and labels already on your storefront stay up.

### What happens at 250 labels on Essentials?

Labels already on your storefront stay up. To label more images, upgrade to Pro or take the label off an image that no longer needs one. Moving from Pro to Essentials gives labels on your other storefronts 30 days before they stop showing.

### How does billing through BigCommerce work?

Footnote is charged on the store invoice you already pay to BigCommerce, in US dollars, so there is no second card to enter. BigCommerce asks you to approve each plan change in your control panel.
