Terms of service

These terms cover use of Hearsay, a BigCommerce app operated by Pouch. Installing it on a store means accepting them.

The service

Hearsay adds a question to your order confirmation page, records the answers, writes them onto the corresponding orders, and reports on them. It is provided as it stands, and it depends on BigCommerce’s APIs and storefront behaviour, which are outside our control.

Your side

You are responsible for the question and answer options you publish, for telling your own customers whatever your jurisdiction requires you to tell them, and for keeping access to the app limited to people who should have it.

Billing

Charges run through BigCommerce and land on your store invoice. The plan is $19 a month after a 14-day trial. A failed payment suspends the app rather than deleting anything. Cancelling stops the app at the end of the paid period.

Ending it

Uninstall whenever you like, from BigCommerce. Doing so deletes the store’s data held by the app; answers already written onto orders as metafields stay on those orders. We may end the agreement for non-payment or misuse, and will say why.

Liability

The app is provided without warranty. Our liability is limited to the fees paid in the twelve months before a claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes

Material changes will be announced by email to the address on the store’s app account before they take effect.
